From the cover alone, Val Semeiks and Denis Rodier set a wildly irreverent tone: Etrigan the Demon struts center stage wielding a guitar like a weapon, surrounded by a chaotic mob of skulls, monsters, and hellish creatures, while a speech bubble cheekily begs onlookers not to step on his "blue suede hooves." The bold cover copy promises "All Singing! All Dancing! Music. Music. Music!" — and with Alan Grant at the helm of "Song of the Demon," this 1990 DC issue clearly leans hard into the series' darkly comedic sensibility. If you enjoy supernatural mayhem seasoned with a winking sense of humor, issue #6 looks like a genuinely entertaining ride.
