In "The Left Hand of Silence!", Black Panther teams up with the Defenders in a high-stakes hunt across New York for a stolen Wakandan device capable of inducing total silence. When the device is accidentally activated, the sudden absence of sound triggers chaos and a citywide riot. Written by Ed Hannigan and illustrated by Don Perlin, with inks by Pablo Marcos, colors by Bob Sharen, and letters by Michael Higgins, this 1980 issue features a cover by Rich Buckler and Al Milgrom.
