This 2002 hardcover collects the early adventures of Boston Brand, the ghostly circus performer known as Deadman, from his debut in Strange Adventures #205-216. Written by Arnold Drake with art by Carmine Infantino and Neal Adams, these stories follow Brand's quest to solve his own murder while inhabiting the bodies of the living. The volume also includes Deadman's appearances from The Brave and the Bold and other DC titles, establishing the character's supernatural niche in the DC Universe.
