The Complete Carl Barks Disney Library #[9]
In "Donald Duck and 'The Pixilated Parrot'," Donald Duck makes a holiday promise to his nephews: if they can guess what he wants for Christmas, he’ll buy them the spectacular building set they’ve been dreaming of. What starts as a simple game quickly spirals into a chain of well-intentioned chaos, as Donald’s friends and family each decide to surprise him with a brand-new car—along with matching building sets for the nephews. Written and illustrated by Carl Barks, with colors by Rich Tommaso and lettering by Barks himself, this classic tale from The Complete Carl Barks Disney Library #9 captures the charm and mischievous energy of Duckburg at its most festive. The cover, also by Barks, perfectly captures the holiday madness in bold, expressive lines.
