“Punish Not My Evil Son”

In "Punish Not My Evil Son," Bruce Wayne takes on the unexpected responsibility of caring for Lance Bruner, a troubled teen bound to him by a promise his father made years ago. With Dick Grayson and the Titans trying to guide Lance toward redemption, tensions rise when Lance discovers the truth about Batman and Robin—and sees a chance to exploit it. Written by Bob Haney and illustrated with striking intensity by Neal Adams, this 1969 tale explores loyalty, identity, and the weight of second chances, all framed by Irv Novick’s dynamic cover.
