About this Collection

This hardcover collection reprints issues #7-11 of The Brave and the Bold and #1-5 of Teen Titans from the mid-1960s, showcasing the original adventures of the sidekick team—Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl, and Speedy—as they evolve from guest stars into their own series. The volume captures the lighthearted, Silver Age tone of the era, with stories that introduce early team dynamics and classic foes like the Mad Mod and the Antagonists.

In "The Fifth Titan," a new face joins the Teen Titans when Lance Bruner, the son of a friend of Bruce Wayne’s father, becomes Bruce’s ward. Though Dick and the team try to guide him, Lance is stubborn and skeptical—especially when he discovers the shocking truth about Bruce and Dick’s secret identities. With Neal Adams’ dynamic art and Nick Cardy’s iconic cover, this story blends teenage angst with superhero intrigue in a standout chapter from the Silver Age Teen Titans Archives.
