In "A Tale of Two Heroes," Batman finds himself stranded on Rann, where Adam Strange is falsely accused of murder and needs the Dark Knight’s help to clear his name—while back on Earth, Adam Strange aids Commissioner Gordon in hunting a dangerous killer. Written by Gerry Conway and brought to life with dynamic art by Jim Aparo—pencils, inks, and lettering—this 1980 crossover showcases two heroes operating in parallel, each confronting a mystery far from home. The cover, also by Jim Aparo, captures the stark contrast between the two worlds.
