Young Tim Hunter stands wide-eyed on a grand staircase, his arms outstretched and his body coiled by an enormous serpent, while leering skulls perch on the newel posts and scattered toys and oddities litter the steps around him. Written by John Ney Rieber with interior art by Peter Gross and Jason Temujin, this issue promises the richly eerie blend of wonder and dread that defines the series at its best.
