The Batman Adventures #16

Tied directly to the look and feel of the beloved animated series, Batman Adventures #16 brings Puckett, Parobeck, and Burchett together for "The Killing Book." The cover by Parobeck and Burchett puts Batman in a tense crouch atop what appears to be rooftop machinery, cape billowing as he eyes a sinister calling card — a printed note bearing the Joker's grinning face and the ominous words "BOOM! YOU'RE DEAD!" It's a beautifully composed threat that promises the Dark Knight and his most chaotic nemesis are on a collision course in this January 1994 issue.
