When a circus hand takes a mysterious blow to the head and discovers he's suddenly immune to pain, Colonel Lane sees dollar signs and bills him as "Painproof Perry" — a showstopping attraction. But Perry's newfound invulnerability catches the eye of a cunning criminal who convinces him that circus life is a dead end, luring him into a scheme to use his painproof body as the perfect tool for high-stakes heists. As Perry tumbles deeper into crime, the circus crew realizes they may have created something far more dangerous than any act they ever staged.
