The fourth and final chapter of "Outer Dark" arrives in this April 2000 WildStorm issue, with the full Authority roster assembled against a blood-red sky that fills the cover with an unmistakable sense of reckoning. Bryan Hitch and Paul Neary render the team in striking detail — a luminous, halo-crowned figure at the center, a silver-skinned woman, a winged hero ascending in the background, and several others gazing upward as an enormous, looming face dominates the horizon above them. It's a fittingly grand visual send-off to an arc, delivered with the cinematic scale that Ellis, Hitch, Neary, and colorist Laura DePuy brought to every issue of this run.
