The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #11
In *The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #11* (1977), Peter Parker finds himself strapped for cash and takes on a strange gig: starring in a low-budget horror film as a spider monster. When the shoot is sabotaged by three masked villains in his old costume designs, Spider-Man follows the trail to a remote farm, where he uncovers a twisted scheme by the film’s producer. Written by Archie Goodwin and Bill Mantlo, with art by Don Perlin and inks by Jim Mooney, this annual features a standout cover by Gil Kane and Joe Sinnott, capturing the eerie tone of a story where the line between performance and peril blurs.
