“Death Walk!”

Spider-Man and Nova of the New Warriors barrel toward the reader in a dynamic cover by Mark Bagley and Randy Emberlin, surrounded by massive mechanical tentacles and the angular limbs of the fearsome Tri-Sentinel. The bold cover copy — "Two Against the Tri-Sentinel!" — sets up what promises to be an intense team-up, with Nova fists-forward alongside a web-slinging Spidey who looks ready for anything. David Michelinie scripts the action in "Death Walk!", brought to vivid life by the art team of Bagley, inker Sam de la Rosa, and colorist B. Sharen.

While Nova battles the Tri-Sentinel from the outside, Spider-Man has made his way inside the deadly robot but still finds himself hampered by defensive measures. When the Life Foundation shows up to erase an incriminating computer disc that Nova has taken, the Tri-Sentinel gets caught in their magnetic blast which stops the robot long enough for Spider-Man to release the Antarctic vibranium in its control center which causes it to explode.
