A Texas Ranger pursues the outlaw Goliath Smith, who has stolen cash and is fleeing with a little feller. When the ranger catches up, Smith escapes but leaves the boy behind; the ranger then tracks Smith to recover the stolen money. In a later confrontation, Ranger Kranitz discovers Smith has hidden a gun under bandages and shoots him in a gunfight. The ranger ultimately apprehends Smith and resolves the case, with Captain Talls reporting the successful conclusion to his men.
