"The Big Squeeze" follows a Yankee Ranger named Wesley Dawes who is captured by outlaws seeking to extract information about troop movements, but he resists and ultimately helps lead a mob of law-abiding men to drive the criminals from town. "The Apache Brand" features a historical narrative about Colonel John Winterton examining a Prussian needle gun (Zündnadelgewehr) and learning from a gunsmith how Indians obtained the weapon through a Mexican intermediary named Hans Meister, prompting concern about armed Native Americans acquiring modern rifles. "Ranger Hunt" depicts a chase after the outlaw Janson Sage, who has stolen cattle from a reservation; a young ranger pursues him with advice from a senior lawman, ultimately tracking Sage back to the reservation where he is apprehended with no injuries reported among the Apache.
