Sophie Campbell

Sophie Campbell (born 1979) is a comic writer and artist best known for her work on IDW Publishing's *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* series and her own indie comics *Wet Moon* and *Shadoweyes*. Her art and writing consistently center young women of diverse races, body types, sexual orientations, and abilities. Campbell first gained attention in the indie scene before moving into mainstream work, notably providing art for IDW's *Jem and the Holograms*. In 2019, she became the lead writer of *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles*, where she co-created Jennika, the franchise's first openly bisexual Turtle. Over a prolific career spanning 2012 to 2026, Campbell has served as artist, colorist, inker, letterer, and writer on more than 100 issues, with credits including *Supergirl*, *Mothra: Queen of the Monsters*, and *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything*.
