From the Archie Adventure Series comes this October 1993 installment of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, where one blue-masked Turtle finds himself completely surrounded by a crowd of wide-eyed grey aliens, one of whom is pressing a metallic cylinder to the back of his head while others prod and examine him with unsettling curiosity. The cover pencils by Chris Allan and inks by Ryan Brown give the scene a wonderfully eerie, close-quarters tension — that turtle's expression says it all. It's a fun, offbeat premise that makes this issue stand out from the shelf.
