From Eastman and Laird's world of shell-kicking action comes this August 1992 entry in Archie's Adventure Series, and the cover delivers an immediate jolt of peril: Leonardo and Raphael scramble desperately as a massive, building-sized boulder bears down on them through a crumbling stone corridor. Lurking at the edges are two menacing figures — a snarling wolf-like villain in the upper left and a sinister bird-of-prey creature on the right — suggesting the Turtles are caught in a very deliberate trap. It's a kinetic, Indiana Jones-worthy image that makes this installment of TMNT Adventures hard to pass up.
