Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #45

From Mirage Studios' original TMNT run comes issue #45 (March 1992), "Leatherhead Too," written and drawn by Dan Berger. The cover — also by Berger — depicts three of the Turtles in their signature red-banded gear squaring off against the massive, muscular form of Leatherhead, the fearsome mutant alligator looming over them in what appears to be a darkened sewer tunnel. It's a dynamic, hard-hitting composition that captures the scrappy, gritty energy that made the Mirage series a standout.
