Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #32
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis August 1990 Mirage issue takes the Turtles somewhere unexpected — an Egyptian adventure — and the cover by Mark Bodé (pencils) and Kevin Eastman (inks) sets the mood brilliantly. Two women in elaborate Egyptian-styled costumes dominate the foreground, one with flowing red hair and golden bracers, the other masked and armed, while a looming dark figure with a distinctive gold-cross emblem lurks in the fiery background and at least one Turtle crouches tensed in the shadows at the edges. It's a striking, pulpy composition that feels refreshingly different from the Turtles' usual New York stomping grounds.
