In "Tarzans Rückkehr," Tarzan, cast adrift by Russian spies off Africa’s coast, returns to the wild and rises as chief of the Waziri tribe. There, he uncovers the lost city of Opar, plundering its treasures before learning that Jane Porter has also been stranded in the jungle—leading to a reunion that changes his fate.

In "Aufstand der Gorillas," Tarzan and Jane race to find their kidnapped son Jack, only to be captured by the villainous Nikolas Rokoff. Stranded on a deserted island, Tarzan teams up with a loyal friend named Mugambi and the wild creatures of the jungle to escape and track down Rokoff’s boat. There, he finds Jane holding off Rokoff’s men with nothing but a rifle, and together they bring the criminal’s reign to an end. Back in London, Tarzan reunites with Jack—unharmed and safe in an orphanage all along.

In "Tarzans Sohn," a young man raised in the world of men discovers a deep bond with the jungle, drawn by a legacy he doesn’t yet understand. After learning the language of the great apes and rescuing a girl from the wild, he begins a life among the trees—until fate separates them. Years later, as he and the girl, now grown, face peril in the heart of the wilderness, a familiar voice calls from the treetops, revealing a truth long hidden: the boy who became Korak is the son of Tarzan, lost and found again.

In "Der Schatz von Opar," Tarzan, injured and stripped of his memory after plundering Opar’s gold, is manipulated by Werper, who steals his pouch of jewels. Meanwhile, the Waziri, believing Tarzan dead, learn that Achmet Zek has captured Jane and set out to rescue her. Taken by the Beast-Men of Opar, Tarzan escapes, compels their submission to La, and begins a quest to reclaim his "pretty pebbles."

In "Der Kampf um den Schatz," Tarzan ventures into the heart of Opar’s ruins, where ancient treasures lie guarded by perilous traps and rival hunters. After rescuing Werper and then Jane from a deadly ambush, Tarzan must outwit a cunning thief who steals the Jewels of Opar—leading to a race through crumbling temples and forgotten tombs.
