The lead story, 'No Place to Turn!', was written by Stan Lee and drawn by Don Heck, with lettering by Artie Simek — the same core team handling the Giant-Man feature across this period of the run. The cover was penciled by Jack Kirby and inked by Dick Ayers, a pairing that supplied much of the visual branding for Tales to Astonish during the early-to-mid 1960s. The 'Tales of the Wasp' backup included in this issue was, per the Wikipedia series history, scripted and penciled by Larry Lieber, who also contributed to additional backup material in the same issue alongside Sol Brodsky. The issue went on sale in January 1964, carrying an April 1964 cover date, at the standard Silver Age cover price of twelve cents.
