Tales to Astonish #52
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom February 1964, this Marvel gem pairs Giant-Man and the Wonderful Wasp against one of their more visually striking foes. Jack Kirby's cover pencils (inked by Sol Brodsky) put the towering Giant-Man center stage, tangled in the Black Knight's bola-like restraints while the miniaturized Wasp darts nearby — all as the armored Black Knight bears down on a winged horse below a gleaming city skyline. Stan Lee's teasing cover copy practically dares you to flip the page, promising an "unusual, powerful super-villain" in "The Black Knight Strikes!" — and the cover absolutely delivers on that setup.
