This 1966 DC gem puts Jimmy Olsen front and center in a wildly imaginative high-concept role: "The Batman-Superman of Earth-X!" The cover by Curt Swan and George Klein delivers a striking scene — a figure in a hybrid Batman-cowl-and-Superman-costume soars cape-billowing into action while a green-uniformed soldier reels backward from a weapon discharge, surrounded by a squad of similarly outfitted soldiers standing on hovering platforms above a futuristic cityscape.
