Jimmy is tricked by the villain Kasmir into piloting a Legion time bubble into the past for him. Once there, Kasmir turns on Jimmy, but he is rescued by Mighty Youth. Later Kasmir takes his revenge by framing Jimmy as a thief, and he is thrown in jail. Jimmy is released by Mighty Youth, who reveals himself as Samson. Kasmir follows Samson and Jimmy to Samson's fortress, but Samson once again saves Jimmy, just before Superman arrives to rescue Jimmy and return Kasmir to the 30th century.
