In "Grounded, Part Seven," Superman walks through Boulder, Colorado, where he helps Super-Chief apprehend a group of criminals—only to be met with a town draped in Kryptonian attire and a voice blurting Kryptonian facts at lightning speed. Tracking it down, he finds Flash wearing a mysterious Kryptonian headband that’s scrambling his mind, and after removing it, the two heroes share a quiet moment over dessert to talk about legacy and what it means to be a hero.
In "Grounded Part Eight," Superman walks through Utah, where he rescues archaeologist Terri Chung from a near-miss accident and follows her to her threatened dig site. There, he reconnects with Batman, who shares a reflective moment recalling their first mission in Bhutran before they became heroes—then surprises him with a heartfelt pep talk and a generous gesture: he’s bought the dig site to ensure its continuation.
In "Grounded, Part Nine," Superman races from Provo to Las Vegas after picking up a distress signal from Jimmy Olsen, only to face a dangerously amplified Livewire whose powers have spiraled out of control. With help from Jimmy, the resourceful Dr. Serling Roquette, and the grounded Iron Munro, Superman must piece together a solution before her chaos spreads further—especially when a forgotten electrical containment suit might be the key to stopping her.
