About this Collection

This volume collects the first half of the Superman: Camelot Falls storyline, written by Kurt Busiek with art by Carlos Pacheco. The story pits Superman against a mystical threat tied to the legend of King Arthur, as the Man of Steel faces a dire prophecy that could spell doom for Metropolis and the world. It includes issues of the main Superman series from 2006-2007.

In "On Our Special Day," writer Kurt Busiek and artist Carlos Pacheco launch a gripping tale where ancient prophecy collides with modern crisis. As Clark Kent travels to Kazakhstan to meet Dr. Callie Llewellyn, Superman confronts the aftermath of a forgotten Soviet experiment gone wrong, facing a foe faster than he’s ever known—leaving him bloodied and on the edge of a mystery that reaches back to the fall of Camelot. Cover by Carlos Pacheco and Jesús Merino captures the moment with haunting precision.
