Superman - Action Comics #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis volume collects issues #13-18 of the New 52 Action Comics series, written by Scott Lobdell and drawn by various artists. The story follows a depowered Superman as he faces a mysterious new threat that pushes him to his limits, while also dealing with the fallout from his recent battles and the arrival of a new villain known as the Collector. It's a pivotal arc that explores Superman's vulnerability and resilience in the early days of the New 52 era.
In "The Ghost in the Fortress of Solitude," Grant Morrison and artist Brad Walker weave a haunting, non-linear tale where Superman confronts echoes of his past, present, and future. From a fateful prom night crash to a red sun world where he’s hunted, and a chilling encounter with Mrs. Nyxly that ends in tragedy, the story unfolds with emotional weight and mystery. Rags Morales’ cover art captures the eerie tone, while the layered storytelling by Morrison and Walker invites deep reflection on identity and legacy.
