About this Collection

Superman: Action Comics, Vol. 2: Bulletproof collects issues #0 and #8–12 of the New 52 Action Comics series. This volume continues Grant Morrison's run, delving into Superman's early days in Metropolis as he faces a new threat from the mysterious Collector of Worlds, while also exploring the aftermath of the Doomsday encounter and the introduction of the villainous Metallo.

In "The Curse of Superman," Grant Morrison and Rags Morales deliver a gripping chapter where Superman struggles with the fallout of Clark Kent’s fake death, seeking solace in a conversation with Batman. As a mechanical monster lays waste to a neighborhood, Superman steps in to rebuild—but when Lois’s niece Susie reveals unsettling secrets and the Multitude is revealed as an imminent threat, Captain Comet arrives with a mission to protect her, leaving Superman to question what’s truly at stake. The cover by Rags Morales captures the weight of that moment with striking intensity.
