Superman '78 #5
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe penultimate chapter of "Brainiac" arrives with a cover by Francis Manapul that captures the stakes beautifully: Superman surges forward fist-first, cape billowing, with steely determination in his eyes — while the looming, cold visage of Brainiac hovers behind him against a star-filled sky, the Daily Planet globe visible between them as a reminder of exactly what's at risk. Robert Venditti, Wilfredo Torres, and Jordie Bellaire have been delivering a love letter to the silver-screen era of the Man of Steel, and issue five of six feels like the story is coiling toward its finale. If you've been following this mini-series, this one is not the place to stop.
