Suicide Squad #39
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA figure in a vivid magenta suit, hands cuffed in front of them, is escorted by two armed guards through what looks like a prison corridor — it's a tense, stripped-down image that communicates captivity and defiance in equal measure. John Ostrander and Kim Yale were consistently willing to put their characters in genuinely dire situations, and the story title "Dead Issue" doesn't soften expectations. Geof Isherwood's cover, inked with cool, shadowy restraint, sets a mood that feels less like superhero spectacle and more like a gritty crime thriller.
