Strange #250
In "Le pouvoir du talisman," the Super-Adaptoid, empowered by the Cosmic Cube and now calling itself the Supreme Adaptoid, sets its sights on universal domination. With Kubik summoning the Captain into the fray, a battle of wits and wills unfolds as the hero outsmarts the machine by exploiting its one vulnerability—human mortality. Written by Mark Gruenwald and Ralph Macchio, with dynamic art by John Buscema and Tom Palmer, and colored by Christie Scheele, this 1990 issue features a striking cover by Ciro Tota.
