Strange #154
In "Cauchemar...", Rom arrives at the long-lost site of Galador only to find it gone—replaced by a desperate defense of Xandar against a Skrull invasion. With help from Nova and Powerhouse, the giant robot fights alongside Earth's heroes, only to be sent home by the Prime Thoran of Xandar after the entire Golden Galaxy is revealed to have been relocated. Written by Bill Mantlo and Mark Gruenwald, with dynamic art by Sal Buscema, Joe Sinnott, and Al Milgrom, and colored by Ben Sean, this 1982 issue features a striking cover by Jean Frisano.
In "L'Araignée et le cambrioleur !..," a powerless Spider-Man grapples with the shocking aftermath of Aunt May’s murder and the chilling revelation that the killer he’s tracking is the same man who took Uncle Ben’s life years before. With no powers and a past that refuses to stay buried, Peter Parker must confront a twisted echo of his origin in a desperate bid to uncover the truth.
In "... dans l'univers de Xandar !", Rom arrives at Galador only to find it vanished—instead, he joins Nova and Powerhouse in defending Xandar from a Skrull invasion, his presence in a borrowed Skrull ship raising eyebrows. With the help of the Prime Thoran of Xandar, Rom helps repel the Skrull forces, only to learn the entire Golden Galaxy has been relocated—leading to a return to Galador’s new home, and Nova’s eventual return to Earth, stripped of his powers.
