“Cauchemar !”

In "Cauchemar !", Power Man and Iron Fist race against a citywide manhunt to smuggle the alien robot Rom through New York, dodging both authorities and unseen dangers. With the help of the Fantastic Four—especially Reed Richards—they manage to secure Rom’s escape by sending him home aboard a FF-built ship, while back in Clairton, the mysterious Wraiths stir once more. Written by Bill Mantlo and illustrated by Sal Buscema with inks by Joe Sinnott and colors by Ben Sean, this 1982 French edition delivers a tense, high-stakes sci-fi thriller. The cover by Jean Frisano captures the urgency of the moment in bold, dynamic lines.

With all of New York out hunting for a killer alien robot, Power Man and Iron Fist try to sneak Rom through the city as they head for the Baxter Building. They break into the building and survive the security measures long enough to meet up with the FF. After explaining the situation to Reed, he puts Rom on a spaceship headed to his home planet of Galador. Meanwhile, Wraiths return to Clairton.
