Static finds himself in the thick of a chaotic brawl on this November 1993 cover, rendered by penciler John Paul Leon and inker Joseph James — the young hero in his blue-and-white costume grapples fiercely with a larger opponent in an orange jacket, debris and electrical energy exploding outward around them, while a mysterious figure in a long coat watches from the left and another crackles with lightning high above. The story arc title "Blow Up" feels entirely earned given the kinetic mayhem on display. Milestone's street-level superhero series was hitting its stride, and this issue — part two of the "Louder Than a Bomb" arc — looks like it delivers that energy in full.
