The second chapter of "Infernal Devices" arrives in Starman #31 (June 1997), and Tony Harris's cover sets a vivid, swashbuckling tone — a massive, scarred face looms over a chaotic tall-ship deck where pirates clash beneath a jolly roger, with billowing smoke and drawn blades filling the frame. Harris's linework bathes the whole scene in a striking amber haze that gives the nautical mayhem an almost dreamlike intensity.
