Star Wars #64
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMarvel's Star Wars #64 from October 1982 carries one of the more unsettling covers of the run — a massive green creature looms toward the viewer, its toothy maw wide open and its glowing red eyes each reflecting the faces of Luke Skywalker and a companion trapped within them, hinting at some alien, hypnotic menace. A small inset panel in the upper corner features C-3PO and R2-D2, grounding the issue firmly in familiar galaxy-far-far-away territory. Cover pencils by Joe Brozowski and inks by Brent Anderson give the beast a genuinely eerie presence that makes "Serphidian Eyes" a compelling chapter in this Marvel series.
