Darth Vader looms large and menacing on Tom Palmer's cover for this 1982 Marvel installment, declaring "Luke Skywalker, I have come for you!" as a startled Luke recoils in the foreground — with C-3PO and R2-D2 glimpsed in a small inset panel above. Inside, David Michelinie and Walt Simonson craft "The Mind Spider!", with art from Simonson and Palmer and colors by Glynis Wein giving the whole package a vivid, kinetic energy.
