Dark Horse's Star Wars #3 (2013) brings writer Brian Wood and artist Carlos D'Anda's "In the Shadow of Yavin, Part Three" to a fever pitch, and Alex Ross's painted cover sets the tone perfectly. Han Solo dominates the foreground, blaster raised and teeth gritted, with Chewbacca roaring at his back and a ghostly Ben Kenobi looming large above them — while a pair of Imperial Stormtroopers close in from the left and what appears to be a Star Destroyer cuts through the darkness behind them. The tagline "Never Con a Smuggler!" says everything you need to know about where this chapter is headed.
