Four issues into IDW and DC's 2015 crossover event, The Spectrum War is raising the stakes in spectacular fashion. Marc Laming's cover depicts a menacing, powerfully built villain — chains at his wrists, a glowing blue construct in his grasp — looming over the USS Enterprise as it streaks through a star-filled cosmos, dwarfed by the threat bearing down on it. Mike Johnson, Angel Hernández, and Alejandro Sánchez bring these two universes together in what is shaping up to be one of the more ambitious crossover collaborations of 2015.
