Star Trek / Green Lantern #3
The crossover event of 2015 rolls into its third chapter as Star Trek / Green Lantern: The Spectrum War delivers a cover that puts Spock in the thick of hand-to-hand combat against a fearsome, flame-crowned orange-suited beast, while Kirk looms in the background channeling a burst of ring energy. Tony Shasteen's cover crackles with kinetic tension, rendering the clash between Starfleet and the Emotional Spectrum's more dangerous denizens with vivid color and urgency. With Mike Johnson writing and Angel Hernández and Alejandro Sánchez bringing the interior to life, this DC/IDW collaboration continues to make the case that two beloved universes are better — and far more dangerous — together.

Hal tells Kirk of the Lanterns final battle with Nekron, which led to Ganthet escaping to this universe and causing the surviving Lanterns to be transported as well. While the Chekov, Uhura, and McCoy adjust to their rings, the other rings are put to more diabolical uses. On Gornar, Glocon uses the red ring to kill his father and assume control of the Gorn Hegemony, but is confronted by Atrocitus. On Romulus, Decius uses the orange ring to kill the senate to become the new leader, and encounters Larfleeze. On Qo'nos, Sinestro agrees to help Chang destroy the enemies of the Klingon Empire.
