“The Spectrum War [Part Five]”

The penultimate chapter of IDW and DC's 2015 crossover event arrives with a striking cover by David Williams — a Green Lantern stands ring blazing, projecting a shimmering emerald shield around a fallen Captain Kirk and a watchful Spock, while a horde of snarling, monstrous figures closes in from every direction. It's a tense, visually compelling image that captures the mounting stakes of "The Spectrum War" with real urgency. With Mike Johnson writing and Angel Hernández on interior art, this five-of-six issue promises a collision of two beloved universes at full force.
