Kirk leads the Endeavour in pursuit of the Borg ship into Romulan space. Spock and Uhura rendezvous with the crew and discover that the Borg are searching for the Narada, Nero's ship from the original timeline, because it incorporated some elements of Borg technology. Unaware that the Narada has been destroyed, the Borg believe the Romulans are hiding the ship. When Kirk's away team encounters the Borg, Spock is captured by the Borg.
