Star Trek: Boldly Go #1
"Star Trek: Boldly Go Part One" kicks off a bold new chapter in the Star Trek comics universe, with Mike Johnson and Tony Shasteen delivering a gripping tale that plunges the crew of the Endeavour into a high-stakes chase after the Borg. When Sulu is rescued from the wreckage of the USS Concord, his account of the Borg's brutal assault sets the stage for a mission that links past and present, as Uhura uncovers a century-old mystery on New Vulcan. The story unfolds with urgency and mystery, leading to a chilling confrontation where Captain Terrell—now part of the Borg—issues a dire warning to the Endeavour. Cover by George Caltsoudas.
In "Star Trek: Boldly Go Part One," Captain Kirk takes command of the USS Endeavour for a year-long mission of exploration, stepping into a role far from the Enterprise’s legacy. When the USS Concord, now under Sulu’s command, sends a desperate distress call from uncharted space, Kirk and his crew must respond—only to face a threat neither they nor Starfleet have ever seen.
In "Star Trek: Boldly Go Part Two," Sulu recounts the devastating assault on the USS Concord by the Borg, who severed and took the saucer section—leaving him as the sole survivor. With the Endeavour in pursuit, Kirk races to intercept the Borg ship, while on New Vulcan, Uhura uncovers a chilling link between the current attack and the long-lost Vulcan vessel from a century prior. As Spock and Uhura urge the Vulcans to send a battleship, the Endeavour confronts the Borg ship at a Federation outpost—only to be warned off by Captain Terrell, now assimilated and commanding the enemy vessel.
In "Star Trek: Boldly Go Part Three," Kirk pushes the Endeavour deep into Romulan space, chasing a Borg vessel with a mysterious agenda. Spock and Uhura join the mission, uncovering that the Borg are hunting the Narada—Nero's ship—believing it holds stolen Borg tech, unaware it was destroyed long ago. When Kirk's away team makes contact, Spock is taken, leaving the crew to confront the growing threat in hostile territory.
In "Star Trek: Boldly Go Part Four," Captain Kirk leads the Endeavour in a high-stakes pursuit of a Borg ship bound for Romulus, determined to free Spock and other captives. With Spock resisting assimilation and a Romulan Warbird joining the chase—after Kirk surrenders to its crew—the mission takes a daring turn as Kirk devises a plan to save the prisoners and destroy the Borg vessel. The story unfolds with tense alliances and bold choices, leaving the fate of Commander Valas uncertain as the Romulans take custody of him.
In "Jaylah's Story," the young survivor Jaylah recounts how her life changed forever when her family’s ship was destroyed by a weapon that would later strike the Enterprise. With her mother gone and her father and sister killed by Krall, Jaylah fled to the wreckage of the USS Franklin on the planet Altamid, where she found shelter among the ruins.
In "The White Hole," the USS Endeavour stumbles upon a theoretical anomaly—its inverse, a white hole—testing the limits of science and crew unity. As the ship’s systems falter under strange, unexplained forces, two crew members are forced to confront a hidden truth that could either save them or doom the entire vessel.
