In "Superfolkets fånge," the Legion of Super-Heroes manipulates events to turn public opinion against Stålpojken, fearing he’ll commit terrible acts in the future—destroying a military ship, a airfield, and burying a factory. With a carefully orchestrated campaign, they ruin his reputation in Smallville, leading to his exile from Earth.

When Ace Farrow and his gang ambush Stålpojken with a weapon powered by green kryptonite, the hero is forced to rely on the one working Stålpojken-robot to turn the tide. With his usual strength compromised, Stålpojken must outwit his enemy using cunning and the robot’s unique abilities—before the city falls into chaos.
