Spider-Woman #46

Spider-Woman finds herself caught between two deadly threats on this October 1982 cover, where she's shown being slammed by a massive Mandroid while the cover copy ominously promises the Kingpin is waiting in the wings. Steve Leialoha's art captures the raw power of the collision — Spider-Woman's red-and-yellow costume a vivid flash against the hulking purple armor bearing down on her. With a story titled "Yakuza" and both Mandroids and the Kingpin in the mix, this issue clearly has no shortage of dangerous adversaries for Marvel's wall-crawling heroine.
