Spider-Woman races through a wall of fire alongside Captain America on this vivid 2000 cover, both heroes straining against what appears to be an enormous dark-armored threat looming at the left edge of the frame. Bart Sears and Randy Elliott bring real kinetic energy to the scene, with Spider-Woman's yellow-and-red costume blazing against the inferno backdrop while Cap charges shield-first overhead. "Flesh and the Devils" promises a story with stakes worthy of this intense cover, written by John Byrne with interior art also by Sears and Elliott.
