Spider-Man : l'intégrale #1964
This second volume of Panini France's complete 1962-1964 Spider-Man collection reprints the earliest adventures of Peter Parker from 1964. It includes the first appearances of classic villains like the Vulture, Kraven the Hunter, and the original Sandman, as well as early team-ups with the Human Torch and Daredevil. The stories, drawn by Steve Ditko and written by Stan Lee, establish the foundational rogues' gallery and supporting cast of the Spider-Man mythos.
In "Le Cerveau Vivant !", Peter Parker is hit hard by the 24-hour flu when Doctor Octopus kidnaps Betty Brant, using her as bait to draw out Spider-Man. Weak and feverish, Peter tries to fight anyway—only to be beaten and unmasked, leaving everyone convinced it’s just him pretending. Once recovered, the web-slinger must face off against a zoo full of rampaging animals unleashed by Ock, culminating in a brutal showdown with the villain himself. Written by Stan Lee and Geneviève Coulomb, with art by Steve Ditko and coloring by Andy Yanchus, this 2002 Panini France release features a gripping tale of resilience and disguise, with a cover by Studio Vianney Jalin.

Peter has the 24 hour flu when Doc Ock captures Betty Brant in hopes of luring Spider-Man into battle. Ock beats the under the weather web-head and unmasks him, but everyone thinks it’s just Peter trying to be brave by impersonating Spider-Man. Once he has recovered, Spider-Man battles through the wild animals Ock has released from the zoo to take on old six-arms himself.
