Blackie Gaxton

Blackie Gaxton is a Silver Age figure who made his mark when Stan Lee and Steve Ditko were at the height of their powers, debuting in 1970 through Editions Lug's French-language Marvel publications. With only a handful of catalog appearances, he's a rare and compact presence — but the company he keeps is extraordinary, sharing pages with the likes of Otto Octavius, J. Jonah Jameson, Betty Brant, Bennett Brant, and Peter Parker himself. One of those appearances carries key-issue status, making Gaxton a genuine find for the dedicated collector hunting through Spider-Man's classic early corners.
