History

The issue was written by Peter David — the sole writer on the title for the vast majority of its original run — and features art split between Roger Robinson (handling the present-day story) and David Boller (handling the flashback sequences), with Jimmy Palmiotti as inker on the Robinson pages and Ken Lopez lettering throughout. It was edited by Joey Cavalieri and Lia Pelosi, part of the same editorial team that would be at the center of the line-wide disruption in early 1996. The issue also coincided with a production upgrade: the paper stock shifted to glossy beginning with this issue, a change that coincided with the 'A.D.' rebranding of the cover logo.
